Diversity Practitioner Roundtables

The Diversity Practitioner Roundtables (DPR) are based up our highly successful Diversity Roundtables (DR). The two events are used interchangeably and always take place in the morning of the career fairs. The focus of the DPR is to present a forum for HR Professionals, Employers, Professional and Community Based Organizations and local Government to share best practices and current trends in diversity and inclusion. Diversity leadership from our Corporate Sponsors regularly address the DPR as well. Recent Key Learning Presenters have included: Pacific Gas & Electric’s Chief Diversity Officer, Coca-Cola Refreshments Director of Talent Acquisition, Cisco System’s Chief Inclusion and Collaboration Strategist, Kaiser Permanente’s Director of Workforce Planning and Development, the OFCCP and EEOC. These and most of our Roundtables are eligible for Educational Credits. Professional Chapters of Human Resources along with Professional and Community Based Organizations regularly sponsor and participate.  Among them are local SHRM Associations, NCHRA, SAHRA, NBMBA, SWE, NSHMBA, NAAAP, WMBA, NAACP, UL, ALPFA, BDPA, and many more. The majority of our DPR and DRs host a information update and Question and Answers period with the EEOC and OFCCP. Participants have found this to be a valuable addition to the Roundtables. The Diversity Spirit Achievement Awards are presented as well as a Networking Continental Breakfast. Media coverage from both main stream and the Multicultural and Diverse Community will be present.
